Surrounded by the lush green spaces that Hampshire is renowned for, Hartley Wintney offers the very best of the English countryside. Whether you are looking to take a relaxing walk through wildflower meadows, to go for a gentle stroll alongside the tranquil riverside or take in one of the country’s oldest cricket pitches, this amazing location makes for the perfect place to get outside and back to nature.
Sporting traditions
Hartley Wintney cricket club, which was founded in 1770, is the oldest in Hampshire, and one of the oldest in the country. An active club, still to this day, it sits at the heart of the village and encourages members new and old across all age brackets, whether you are looking to play socially or competitively.
Excellent connections
Hartley Wintney makes the perfect place to commute into London, with excellent transport links right on your doorstep. Trains from nearby Winchfield Station take you directly into Waterloo, or if you’re driving the M25 is just a few miles away via the M3.
What’s more, with the M4 only 15 minutes away, and Heathrow Airport just half an hour, journeying further afield couldn’t be easier. If you ever actually want to leave, that is!
