Peter and Annabelle have recently moved into their new three-bedroom home at Albion Yard. The couple had been looking for a smaller house in the village for the last few years, when they discovered Albion Yard in Hartley Wintney. Impressed by the homes on offer here, they went on to reserve one of the new homes, off-plan.
Talking of the experience, Peter said: “What really appealed to us about the homes at Albion Yard was their location and their accessibility. We are just a short walk from the village centre, which means everything is within easy reach.”
Peter explains why they decided to reserve, off-plan: “We made the decision to reserve one of the homes off-plan because we didn’t want to miss out. We had been searching for a long time. It’s not very often that homes like these become available in Hartley Wintney. Because we reserved so early, it was hard for us to visualise what the final homes would look like, but reserving early certainly had its advantages for us. We were able to choose the floor and wall tiles, as well as the colour of the kitchen units, which was great.
“However, what really made the difference for us, was that Stratfield Homes agreed to make some adaptions to accommodate my wife’s disabilities. They have added an extra handrail to the stair, moved an electrical point to accommodate a stair lift, and they provided an additional cupboard on the landing. These small additions have made a big difference to us, but what really impressed us was the positive, caring and can-do attitude of the whole Stratfield team.
“We also very much appreciated the fine garden shed, which Stratfield provided, as well as the tree pit in the courtyard garden, ready planted with mature shrubs. These were unexpected extras, and it’s touches such as these, that have really enhanced our overall experience of buying here at Albion Yard.”
Now they are moved into their new home, the couple have been impressed with the high standard of finish within their new home.
Peter added: “We are very pleased with the high standard of finish, throughout our new home, as well as the landscaping and the presentation of the wider development. The layout works perfectly for us and we are very much looking forward to enjoying life in our beautiful new home.”
Talking of the sales team Peter added: “The sales team were excellent throughout. They always kept in touch and kept us up to date with progress. They were there to answer any questions we had and always came back to us. From making an initial enquiry all the way through to moving into our new home here, it has been a very positive experience.”
